David
Olley’s (Dip CABT) life long love of dogs lead him to train
to become a Pet Therapist. Dave instructed at dog schools
in York, it became of increasing concern to him, that with
the large classes and little knowledge of the behaviour and
emotions of dogs, the dogs and owners who needed most help
were falling through the net. Dave began to research dog behaviour,
the causes and cures for problem behaviour. He attended numerous
courses and seminars all over the country. In 1999 he started
York’s first growl class, for dogs who were showing aggression
to people and other dogs. In 2000 he started his own training
and therapy centre, not only to help dogs with problems, but
to work on prevention. Dave is a kennel club Judge and successfully competes with his own dogs in
Working Trials and has previously competed in Obedience. |
