A three day course for pet owners and their dogs to discover the world of the working dog.
The goal of the course is to build a working rapport and enhance your relationship, using all your dogs natural abilities and senses.
You will be amazed at the skills we can bring out in you and your dog. Over the three days we will build self esteem and motivation, this will result in your dog evolving from pet to pro.
Itinerary .
Sunday AM - Jump for Joy, the start of turning your couch potato into a canine athlete.
Sunday PM - Back to basics, with an obedience lesson to enhance the rest of your course, followed by retrieve and nose work through fun and games.
Monday AM -Tracking - teaching your dog police dog style tracking and search and rescue skills.
Monday PM - Gundog Scurry followed by an assault course
Tuesday AM - Whistle training and distance control.
Tuesday PM - Tracking, then a grand finale of a team assault course.
Whatever understanding or standard you are, remember mighty oaks from little acorns grow.
Dogs need to be fit, healthy and sociable.
We will accept less amounts of these qualities in the owners
Come and have three fun packed days with your dog, the cost of the course is £150.00, this includes all activities and tuition from our instructors, plus tea and coffee throughout the days. The cost is per dog working, accompanying spectators are free
If you are staying in the area overnight we will provide you with a list of B & B's and caravan sites in the area.
