Dog Friendly is run by Dave Olley (Dip CABT) and Jenny Olley (Dip CABT), who are both experienced dog trainers and behaviourists.

Whether you are a new owners starting out with your first puppy, or a lifetime dog owner who would like to enter competition, we can offer training for you.

Our unique Growlers class offers an opportunity to train and socialise for dogs who are often turned away from classes.

Classes and services

Puppies and starter dogs, come and join our working dogclasses on York Knavesmire on Sundays, also starting soon Wednesday mornings.

Once your dog has learnt the basics you have a number of options:

Continue into a more advanced class on the Knavesmire.

Tuesday Afternoon classes at North Duffield Village Hall.

Tuesday evening, activity class North Duffield village Hall 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

When you get really bitten by the dog training bug you can join our competition classes on Saturdays, held at various locations, to expand the dogs training and prepare dog and handler for competition.

One to one training is available in your home, see our one to one page for full details, this is for training only, or if your dog is attending Growlers class, also behavioural work.

The two dogs above, Jez and Des are following tracks laid by people walking the land, all dog enjoy tracking, these young dogs do compete, but tracking can be enjoyed by pet dogs looking for their dinner.
